Following early success, it was in its fourth season that the team qualified for its first play-offs settling for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference. To top that, the team ended the season with the elusive Stanley Cup – their first and the only. 2003-04 also brought Prince of Wales Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Conn Smythe Trophy, Lester B. Pearson Award, Hart Memorial Trophy, Jack Adams Award, Lady Byng Memorial Trophy and numerous other awards to various players of the team.The Tampa Bay Lightning has been playing in St. Pete Times Forum since 1996 – the venue boasts a seating capacity of over 19,500. The team used to play in Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds before St. Pete Times Forum was built. Often, the venue is seen flooded with The Lightning outfits which feature distinct black, blue, silver and white colors and their logo – a lightning thunder bolt.
