MLB Game

Major League Baseball (MLB) is the highest level of professional baseball in the United States. It is composed of 30 teams that play in the American League (AL) and National League (NL). MLB was founded in 1903 and is the oldest of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. MLB is considered to be the premier professional baseball league in the world.

It is composed of teams from the United States and Canada. MLB teams play a 162-game regular season schedule, with each team playing its opponents 19 times. At the end of the regular season, the team with the best record in each league advances to the playoffs, where they compete for the World Series championship.

MLB Origins

The origins of Major League Baseball (MLB) can be traced back to the late 19th century. The first professional baseball league, the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players, was formed in 1871. However, this league was plagued by financial instability and poor organization. In 1876, the National League of Professional Base Ball Clubs was established and became the first successful professional baseball league. The American League was established in 1901, and the two leagues eventually merged in 1903 to form what is now known as MLB.
