The success was once again followed by a bit of a lean patch and the management went to work in order to make the team competitive again. The 2003-2004 season was the one that changed the Canuck’s fortunes once again because by the end of that campaign they had once again won the division. They lifted the division championship again in 2007.
 
2009 saw them win a sixth division title and they went on to do the same for the next three years as well to make it four in a row. The Canucks also went on to clinch the third of their three conference titles in between at the end of the 2010-2011 season. Not only that but they also got their hands on the Presidents Cup the season and another one the next year.
