The team couldn’t build on that season’s success like they would have hoped for and hit a slump which threatened to spiral out of control. It was the arrival of the 1990’s that did the trick and the Canucks began to make their presence felt once again. In 1992, the Vancouver Canucks went all the way to the top of the division as its champions. They repeated the feat next year as well. They couldn’t complete their division titles hat trick the next season but made up for it by lifting the conference title.
 
The success was once again followed by a bit of a lean patch and the management went to work in order to make the team competitive again. The 2003-2004 season was the one that changed the Canuck’s fortunes once again because by the end of that campaign they had once again won the division. They lifted the division championship again in 2007.
 
2009 saw them win a sixth division title and they went on to do the same for the next three years as well to make it four in a row. The Canucks also went on to clinch the third of their three conference titles in between at the end of the 2010-2011 season. Not only that but they also got their hands on the Presidents Cup the season and another one the next year.
