Three Days Grace is a band which came into existence in the year 1992, albeit under a different name at the time. The band hails from the city of Norwood in Ontario, Canada. The band initially started when a number of talented musicians in high school decided to form a band by the name Groundswell. It was in the year 1997 that the name got changed to what it is today. The initial line-up included a bass guitarist by the name of Brad Walst teaming up with Adam Gontier who was the band’s vocalist as well as rhythm guitarist and Neil Sanderson who was the band’s drummer.

Walst and Sanderson also provided backing vocals to the band’s songs and the latter also played the percussion and the piano. After playing together and trying to get a major record label to sign them, they went on to create their hit song I Hate Everything About You which eventually led them to get signed up by the president of Jive Records. The band has since grown and in the year 2003, it was joined by Barry Stock who became the band’s lead guitarist. Dani Rosenoer also teamed up with the band in the year 2012 in order to play with them during their live performances and he plays the piano as well as the synthesizer. Matt Walst has also come into the fold as he takes his place as the lead vocalist for the band’s live tours.
