Terry Clark was born in 1968 in Montreal, Canada. Her family settled in Medicine Hat, Alberta and that is where she grew up as a child. Her grandparents, Ray and Betty Gauthier were both well known country musicians. Throughout high school, Clarklistened to Country and folk music.
