Maze and Frankie Beverly, sometimes referred to as Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, was founded in the 1970’s in San Francisco. The band had taken shape before in the form of a group called ‘Raw Soul’, which featured Frankie Beverly as the singer, arranger, guitarist, songwriter as well as record producer.
