Los Angeles Sparks, a basketball team that plays professionally, has its base in the city of Los Angeles, in California. Carla Christofferson & Kathy Goodman along with Williams Group Holdings jointly own the team.

Los Angeles Sparks plays in the Women’s National Basketball Association’s Western Conference. Los Angeles Sparks flew high in the 2000 season and posted a 28-4 record, the best in the history of the league. In the 2001 season, the team won the first ever league championship.
