The 19-date trek starts March 22 from Portland and the final show will take place in Houston on April 20.

Elizabeth Clark Phair, fondly known as Liz Phair appeared out of nowhere in 1993 and released her debut album “Exile in Guyville”. Causing an instant uproar, the record sold more than 200,000 units and had the indie-rock gurus going gaga over her. Phair enrolled in Oberlin College in Ohio as an art student and ended up walking straight into the thriving band scene. Everyone around her had a band and rock n roll spirit was at its peak. She started writing songs and made friends with Come’s guitarist Chris Brokaw, who was also studying in the same university. Musically nothing developed between the two at that time, but after both graduated, their paths once again crossed in San Francisco. Brokaw was in the city for a gig and met Liz by chance. They spent the time jamming, playing songs together and Liz shared with him “Johnny Sunshine” and “Fuck and Run” that later ended up on her debut album.

Since the time she made an outstanding debut, Liz Phair hasn’t looked back and has released albums from time to time, if not frequently. With six albums in her collection, her latest one hit the shelves in 2010 and reflected her personal view of the world.
