While Linda Eder used to live in Brainerd, Minnesota, her parents uncovered the beauty of music before her at a premature age. Her encouragements as a youth were Eileen Farrell, Judy Garland, and Barbra Streisand but she states that her greatest inspiration of all three was Judy Garland.
