It was in the same year that he also won two significant career pushers; the “Young Concert Artists International Auditions” and the “Avery Fisher Career Grant.” As a soloist, Jeremy has been featured in some major orchestras such as those of London, St. Louis, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, New World, San Francisco Symphonies, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra ,Orchestra of St. Luke's and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He gives recitals on a regular basis in Washington, New York, Boston and other cities in US.

Jeremy, the celebrated New York based pianist, met Joshua Bell the violinist, in 2004 while performing together at the Spoleto Festival. Since then, Jeremy has been touring with Joshua and also regularly teams up with the cellist Steven Isserlis whom he had first performed in 2012 at the Kilbourn Hall. He has also appeared at various festivals including the Santa Fe Chamber Music, American and Italian Spoleto Festivals, Tanglewood, Verbier and Mostly Mozart Festivals. From 1996-2002, Jeremy has also taught piano at the School of Music in Indiana University. Currently he is a faculty member at the Conservatory of Music, Bard College. He himself has graduated from the Oberlin College and Conservatory with a double major in chemistry and piano. He then went to the Indiana University from where he earned his master’s degree in music and then went to the Julliard School for his doctorate in piano performance. At the Julliard School, he studied with Herbert Stessin.

The recent recordings of Jeremy include “Jeremy Denk Plays Ives” which was produced on his own Think Denk Media Label in October 2010. It featured the Piano Sonatos No. 1 and 2 by Charles Ives. His other recording “French Impressions with Bell” came out in January 2012 which included the sonatas of Ravel and Franck. This recording also won him the “Echo-Klassik Award 2012.” However, Jeremy’s latest recoding “Ligeti/Beethoven” was released on Nonesuch Records the same year in May. It includes Beethoven’s sonata and piano etudes of György Ligeti.
