Formed and based in the city of Houston, Texas, Houston Dynamo have been keeping the soccer fans in Houston entertained ever since team's inception in 2005. The some increment in the overall attendance was seen later on August 9 when the team played a match at the Reliant Stadium against Los Angeles Galaxy. A gradual increase in the attendance was seen as the team approached the playoffs. 
 
During their second regular season, Dynamo encounter even greater number of average fans in attendance to each of their regular season home games. Sixteen home games were held that year, and they attracted an average of 18,935 fans to each of their home games. Like the previous season, the attendance number increased by the playoffs, and during the MLS Cup finals, Dynamo fans were in high number.
 
Over their years of play, Houston Dynamo has clinched a number of notable achievements apart from their two Major League Soccer Cups. During their 2011 season, Dynamo made it to the finals yet again but weren't able to get a hold of the championship for the third time.
