The Eli Young Band is a country music group from the United States of America. This fantastic group comes from Denton from the state of Texas in the United States of America. This country music band is made up of band members by the name of Chris Thompson (the drummer), James Young (the lead guitarist), Jon Jones (the bass guitarist) and Mike Eli (the lead vocalist and also a guitarist). In the year of 2002, the band successfully recorded and released their first self-titled album. Then in the year of 2005, the band released their second album by the name of Level. In the year of 2008, the band effectively released their third album known as Jet Black & Jealous.  

The bands’ third album was released under the music record label company by the name of Universal South Records. This remarkable country music band recorded and released one of their second major music label album which was known as Life at Best in the year of 2011 under the acclaimed Republic Nashville music recording label. This last album that the band released contains the super hit single named “Crazy Girl”.

The Eli Young Band comes from the city of Denton which is in the state of Texas in the United States of America. The musical genre that the band performs is the country music. This fantastic band has been actively a part of the entertainment industry since the year of 2000 till the present day. The band has been associated with some major music recording labels such are Republic Nashville Records, Carnival Recording Company and the Universal South Records. The band consists of members by the name of Jon Jones, Mike Eli, Chris Thompson and James Young. Two of the known past members of this band have been Mark Sims as well as Bryan Tyler.

This history of the making of the Eli Young Band is quite interesting. James Young and Mike Eli the two front men of the band met at their University of North Texas. Both of them were roommates in the first year of their graduate school. Both Eli and Young started off by playing the guitar and ultimately they band writing some really amazing songs and began singing also. The two young musicians created a duo music group which comprised of both Young and Eli while they were still in their university.
