Chris Thile is an American singer, best recognized as the mandolinist as well as the vocalist for the progressive acoustic trio, Nickel Creek. He is currently a member of the music group Punch Brothers and recently released an album called, ''Antifogmatic''. As a solo artist, Chris has recorded five other albums with ''Leading Off'' marking his debut in 1994. Chris Thile has worked with several artists like Mike Marshall, Glen Phillips, Edgar Meyer and Bela Fleck. In 2008, Thile came up with a collaborative record with Edgar Meyer. He also performed with the vocalist and guitarist Michael Daves in 2005 and together they released a record, "Sleep With One Eye Open" in 2011. In the same year, Thile also released The Goat Rodeo Sessions with the bassist Edgar Meyer and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Chris Thile’s hard work proved fruitful and he found a great deal of success. He has won numerous honors including a Grammy Award for the ‘Best Bluegrass Album’, IBMA Award for the ‘Album of the Year’ along with several other nominations. Thile is featured in Bluegrass Journey documentary and also made an appearance on the recordings of other artists, playing arrangements of impressionist, baroque, classical as well as other music styles with Edgar Meyer and Fleck.

Besides conducting live concerts, Yo-Yo Ma has also been seen on television in many shows such as children's TV series Arthur, The West Wing, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and Sesame Street. Yo-Yo Ma is also seen in Macintosh computer commercials.

Stuart Duncan was part of the Roadrunning tour with Mark Knopfler–Emmylou Harris.
