The Bamboozle is the biggest night in the music calendar in the city of New Jersey. Held every year in the heart of the city, Bamboozle attracts hordes of concertgoers annually who have turned the event into such a big success. Bamboozle features a wide array of bands and musicians from all across the nation, who compete for the spots throughout the two-day long musical extravaganza. The event was held for the first time in 2003, and after having a significant turn over, The Bamboozle has now taken the form of a yearly tradition in the city of New Jersey. Presently, the festival comprises of ten different stages that can feature as much as five different bands performing at the same time.

The event was held for the first time back in 2003 when it was called The Greet Bamboozle. Over the years, the name of the Festival has undergone several changes. After The Great Bamboozle, it was renamed to its present form of name. The first event was held in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony and it lasted for three days. The first ever Bamboozle Roadshow took place back in 2008, and another festival by the name of Hoodwink was also started off that year. The Bamboozle Roadshow was hosted at several small venues all across United States from March 28 to May 10. While Hoodwink on the other hand premiered a day before The Bamboozle on May 2.

This year the Bamboozle will kick things off on April 29 and will go all the way up till May 1, 2011. The event is scheduled to be held in East Rutherford at the new Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey. The show will also be featuring a Hoodwink stage as there isn’t going be any Hoodwink this year. Like every year, the show will continue its tradition of featuring some of the finest names in the music industry.

Amongst many bands this year, is 30 Seconds to Mars. Hailing from Los Angeles California, 30 Seconds to Mars has earned its rightful place amongst some of the top notch bands of our times. Then we’ll also be having Wiz Khalifa, who has spawned hit singles like Say Yeah and Black and Yellow . His popularity as a rapper these days is unmatched. This year’s lineup also includes The Gaslight Anthem who rose to success with the release of their debut album in 2007. Also joining them will be the hit acts like Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Motley Crue, A Day to Remember, Plain White T’s, Taking Back Sunday and many many more.
