Situated in the city of Allen, Texas, the Allen Event Center is the venue for musical concerts, and indoor sports like ice hockey and football. It is essentially a multi-purpose arena with seating capacity of 6,275, which can be extended up to 8,600 for musical concerts. It is also home to Allen Wranglers, an indoor football team and Allen Americans, an ice hockey team. The arena has also played host to monster truck racing and it was the legendary Reba McEntire who opened the arena with her concert in 2009.
