Lion King the musical is an adaptation of Disney’s classic from 1994 by the same name. The musical is produced by “Disney Theatrical”. Lyrics for the musical are written by Tim Rice , music composing credits go to Hans Zimmer and Elton John. Choral arrangements are made by Lebo M and the musical is directed by Julie Taymor . The musical consists of various actors and actresses dressed as the animal characters from the film.
