Formed in 1994, this Neue Deutsche Härte band of Germany has thousands of fans all over the world. Band named itself Rammstein, after the town of Ramstein-Miesenbach where on 28 th August, 1988 eighty people were killed during an American Air Force flight show. Their title song Rammstein is a tribute to the people who were killed during that disaster. Rammstein has had no change in their line up since their formation. Still having its original line up the band has six members, with Till Lindemann on vocals, Flake Lorenz on keyboards, Christoph Schneider on drums, Richard Z. With KMFDM, Rammstein started their tour of US on 5 th December, 1997. Working their way to fame, the band got nominated for the Grammy Award of Best Metal Performance in 1999. Their album Mutter, which was released on 2 nd April, 2001, flashed another tour of Rammstein to Germany , Switzerland and Austria . On 18 th May, Rammstein released the video of their single Links 2 3 4 after which the band also toured Canada , Mexico and US during June to August in 2001.

In 2004 with amazing songs like Mein Teil and Amerika, their fourth album Reise, Reise went straight up to the top 10 charts of Europe, after which Billboard charts declared Rammstein as the most successful German-language band of all times. Committed to entertain its fans Rammstein released another album on 5 th October, 2005 with the title Rosenrot . Following the path of its predecessor, Reise, Reise , the album got on to top ten charts in twenty countries. In 2009, this industrial metal band has recently released its sixth studio album, Liebe ist für alle da (Love is for Everyone). The album stirred the audience with its song Ich tu dir weh.
