Born on the 13^th of June in 1972, the 40 year Natalie Ann MacMaster is a lead vocalist and a fiddle player. Her main music genre is Cape Breton fiddle music. She has actively been a part of the music industry since 1989 till the present day. The music recording Label Company that she is affiliated with is called the Rounder Records. MacMaster has given commendable associated acts with Donnell Leahy and also with Buddy MacMaster. Natalie MacMaster comes from a family that has its roots embedded in music. She was born to Minnie and Alex MacMaster and a sibling to David and Kevin MacMaster. MacMaster is the niece of Buddy MacMaster who is a famous Cape Breton Fiddler. Two of her cousins, Andrea Beaton and Ashley MacIsaac are her cousins. Natalie is also related to the acclaimed musician Jack White. By the time she was 16 years old, she successfully managed to release her debut album that was titled as Four on the Floor. In 1991, she released her second album known as Road the Isle.  The first two albums that she released were both self-produced and initially came out on cassette. When she signed a contract with the Rounder Records, they eliminated some tracks and re-released the albums in 1998 as A Compilation. Over the 24 years of her music career, Macmaster has not just kept to performing in one single genre, she has effectively expanded her musical repute by blending her roots of Cape Breton with music stemming from Ireland as well as from Scotland and bluegrass from America.
