Boston Ballet came into existence in the year 1963 by E. Virginia Williams and emerged as the very first ballet company to have made its mark in New England. This ballet flourished both on national and international level under the guidance of directors like Bruce Marks, Violette Verdy and Anna- Marie Holmes.
